My name is Orit. I design and create all the jewelries in my studio located in Tel-Aviv.

How did it all begin?

I look at my life as a road, as a path. A process that includes searching, experimenting, and yes- sometimes also making mistakes. But I always strive forward and look ahead.
Many years ago I was studying psychology & sociology while working in a management positions at the Hi-tech industry. It was profitable, I had a good job, I had all the benefits, BUT – it wasn't interesting!

I decided to learn how to create jewelries, for my soul and not for a profession.
It started from once a week, and soon enough it evolved for hours and days. I build my home studio, invested months learning, designing, experimenting, reading professional literature and meeting goldsmiths to learn as much as possible.
Then I decided to “jump into the water”… turn my love for creation from a hobby to a profession.
I left my day job, enhanced my expertise in different jewelries designs and methods, worked as an apprentice for a very old and veteran goldsmith (which was actually the best decision that I took in my life), and here I am now!

Since I was a little girl I loved design from different verticals and shapes. Modern art, internal decoration, architecture and high couture fashion are areas which I am following and makes my hurt ticks. They always drive me forward.
I also love history and urbanism. They are a major source of inspiration to me when I am designing my art. I live in a great city and the urban life are reflected in my jewelries.

I love materials which are natural… materials which represents character and depth. Materials which have history, materials which were abandoned. I like colorfulness and its contrast with silent. I love the combination of new and old, fine and rough, raw and polished. I am amazed to see every time that these contrasts are gathered together and become one story… one jewelry.
